Assessment
In addition to data provided by a pupil’s previous school, on entry we establish pupils’ baseline in literacy and numeracy using standardised testing suites including WRAT4. In addition to this, we also test all pupils on entry at the start of each key stage using the CAT4 testing suite to establish each child’s potential and to assist in setting individual academic progress targets. We carry summative teacher assessments on a termly basis as part of our monitoring of progress, we also use end of year summative testing to report attainment to parents and to establish a baseline for the following academic year targets.
